Here’s a small clip featuring a 100% raw vegan (since birth), unvaccinated 2 year old girl named Aya who does not consume fluoride, wears organic clothing, has absolutely no deficiencies (blood work was done and everything is perfect), has never gotten a cold, and I could go on. Wow, everyone at the meet-up (where this was filmed) was amazed by this girl!!! Her two wonderful, intelligent, conscious parents are Chris and Danielle. Chris is the guy you see at the beginning. He has been 100% raw vegan for something like 8 years now and is in amazing shape- pretty built with fantastic muscle tone. Raw fitness all the way! :)


This footage was taken back in June 2011 at the first raw food/ vegetarian potluck meet-up Felipe and I held at High Park, Toronto, Canada. About 26 people showed up and the energy was just buzzing with high vibes!!! Most of us were meeting for the first time, but it felt like we had known each other for years! I love that feeling! And it was so cute near the end as everyone was leaving, Aya gave every single person 2 hugs each. :D

I know that when Felipe and I start creating our retreats in Hawaii, we’ll attract the same amazing people and vibe! We will be making a video very soon sharing all the details about the first retreat we’ll be holding in Hawaii this June.

BACK BODY MUSCLE CRAMPS?

Last week, my brother had the weirdest muscle cramps.  He was driving for the office when suddenly he sneezed and after the sneeze his back is aching and he cannot move his body that freely.  So he decided to go home and hire a driver to get him into the hospital.  At the hospital, the doctor said that it was a muscle cramp in the back and was caused majorly because of bad posture and my brother was guilty that when he uses his laptop that he is always leaning towards his laptop day during the office and even at nights at home.

My father had the same incident and this time with a colleague of him who just sneezed and then his back starts to ache.  Guessing that it is just an ordinary back pain problem his colleague decided to get a body massage but sadly, it just made the pain worst. When he decided to get a doctor, the doctor said that it was muscle cramp in the back and having it massage will definitely worsen it.

The doctor gave then medicine to relax the muscle but the doctor advice them if they can bear the pain it is better if not to take the medicine.  Proper posture, stretching and exercise is needed to avoid these kind of cramps , the doctor added.

MANAGE STRESS – IT MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE

Medical studies shows constant stress can harm the heart and even promote clogged arteries. It can cause a surge of stress hormones in the bloodstream that can weaken the body’s immune defenses, making us more susceptible to infections like colds and flu. Everything from heartburn and cold sores to asthma and cancer are linked to high stress levels – they can even exacerbate memory loss as we age.

Here’s some simple techniques you can apply to somehow slow down or manage stress:

1. DO NOTHING. Take five or ten minutes to sit down quietly and do nothing. Focus on the sounds around you, feel your emotions, and the tension in your neck, shoulders, arms, chest, legs, toes, etc.

2. LAUGH OUT LOUD. Keep something handy that can make you laugh. It can be your favorite comic strip, or a funny voice mail from a child or a friend. Or a few moment to think about a favorite comedy show on tv.

BREATHING THERAPY FOR HEADACHES

I got this over my email… it is worth trying there is no harm if you try…

The nose has a left and a right side,; we use both to inhale and exhale. Actually they are different, you would be able to feel the difference. The right side represents the sun, left side represents the moon. During a headache, try to close your right nose and use your left nose to breathe. In about 5 mins, your headache will be gone. If you feel tired, just reverse, close your left nose and breathe through your right nose. After a while, you will feel your mind is refreshed . Right side belongs to ‘hot’, so it gets heated up easily, left side belongs to ‘cold’. Most females breathe with their left noses, so they get “cooled off” faster. Most of the guys breathe with their right noses, they get worked up. Do you notice the Moment we wake up, which side breathes faster? Left or right? If left is faster you will feel tired. So,close your left nose and use your right nose for breathing, you will get refreshed quickly. This can be taught to kids, but it is more effective when practiced by adults. I used to have bad headaches and was always visiting the doctor. There was this period when I suffered headache literally every night, and unable to study. I took painkillers, did not work. I decided to try out the breathing therapy here: closed my right nose and breathed through my left nose. In less than a week, my headaches were gone! I continue the exercise for one month. This alternative natural therapy without edication is something that I have experienced. So, why not give it a try?

PROPER POSTURE WHILE USING THE COMPUTER

Good Workstation designing as well as proper posture while using the computer is essential to reduce the risk of stress and ill effects. One good example of this ill effect is having a Carpal Tunnel due to long term repetitive action stress. At first I thought this syndrome is just a hoax but when one of my friends is having this syndrome and verified it to a group of doctors, I was then alarmed of the situation. My friend said having this type of syndrome is as pain as hell one remedy of it is through surgery.

Sperm is good for the skin

The proteins in sperm have a tightening effect on the skin. When sperm is left to dry, the evaporation of the water in it leaves behind protein which can help to reduce wrinkles. While this may be an excellent anti-aging treatment, the obvious downside is that you have to walk around with sperm on your face.  (source)
