Honor Student of the Day: If I had a nickel for every time I got drunkenly stuck inside a dryer, I’d have to seriously rethink my nickel-obtaining strategy. [barstool.] via -thedailywhat:

Countdown to Kalayaan - These were originally from the photo file of the pre-war Rizalist and collector Alfonso Ongpin. The picture was taken in Paris and show, seated from left to right, Jose Rizal, Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo, Trinidad H. Pardo de Tavera, and Juan Luna. With all my humor, I claim that the unidentified man standing in the back is probably the waiter! Haha.
The second image was never publish in school history books. We tend to forget that before we canonized our heroes they were human and could sometimes do crazy things. Pardo de Tavera is on the floor unconscious, the waiter has joined the group, and Rizal is about to hurl an apple on the hapless Trinidad. If these young men clowning around knew they were to join the roster of heroes in the future would they have taken or kept these pictures? via pinoytumblr: jaredramos:
